At
Berkeley, Tikvah will be conducting its 4th annual Israeli Peace and Diversity Week around the same time Santa Cruz's SCIAC will be holding its 2nd annual Israel My Heart festival. Each group will be celebrating Israel for the diverse, technologically advanced, environmentally friendly, caring, and peaceful country that it is! Davis plans to hold its yearly Israel Advocacy Conference, and the new Israel group is already discussing other events and speakers they might bring.
Moshe Katz, an Israel Krav Maga instructor, might make a guest appearance, so you keep your eyes on the lookout.
Back at
Berkeley, talks of bringing
Alan Dershowitz or
Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of Hamas leader, is on the table. Tikvah has also already decided to dedicate the week of Valentine's Day to furthering the cause of
Save a Child's Heart. We are expecting great things next semester/quarter from NorCal activists and looking forward to all their great events!
