The Hasbara Campus Pulse
New England Update
Dec 9, 2010
Continuing a long standing relationship as national partners, representatives from Alpha Epsilon Pi’s Harvard chapter joined Hasbara Fellowships’ New England team for an extravagant and inspiring Shabbat dinner. The food, prepared by Rabbi Chananel, was amazing and the beer was well beyond what is typically served in fraternity houses across the country!
Amongst various topics discussed were ideas on how to solve the world’s problems, Jewish philosophy, and Monday Night Football. Alpha Epsilon Pi’s programming chair Adam Butensky helped to organize the event with Hasbara intern Michael Kupfer. Both were very excited about the success of the evening and working to make our partnership stronger for the future.
Hasbara New England Director Rabbi Chananel Weiner led a discussion throughout the evening on how we can make a difference in the world from a Jewish prospective and concluded the evening with an educational talk about six of Judaism’s tools for life enhancement and leadership development.
Everyone is already excited about doing it again next semester!
