The Hasbara Campus Pulse
Hasbara Fellowships Day 1 in Jerusalem

As our second day here in Israel comes to an end, it is hard to believe that roughly 24 hours ago our El-Al flight was touching down in Ben Gurion airport, unloading a plane full of Hasbarah Fellows.
Already our one day in Jerusalem seems like we've been here for good amount of time as our connections to Israel are growing immensely and in a short amount of time.
From the first few minutes in the classroom at Aish Hatorah in the center of the Old City of Jerusalem there was an energy that was unique among our group. During the information sessions on how to communicate effectively for Israel, every student expressed a passion for Israel-related issues on campus.
This trip is filled with amazing people. If the synergistic capacities of the group weren't enough, in the afternoon we set out for a tour of Jerusalem and the strategic sites about the holy city led by an awesome tour guide.
It is becoming increasingly clear that there is no better way to learn about Israel than to see first hand, and that's just what we did. Maps, resource guides, and facts all came to life before us as we
gazed out onto the Judean hillsides.
As we all parted ways at the close of today's programming, an electricity filled the air in anticipation of what tomorrow holds in store as we depart for an overnight up north in the Golan.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
