Friend Request Pending: Coming to CUNY!!!

Wow, what a week it’s been on the East Coast! Between classes, work, engaging new students, planning upcoming events, and getting ready to table on our campuses!
New York, meet “Friend Request Pending!!”
Brooklyn, Queens, Baruch, and KCC are well underway with carrying out our planned missions for the semester. “Friend Request Pending” is a great way to ensure visibility on campus early on, and gain attention for your Israel club movement!
A few quick things to remember about tabling:
1) Media coverage is crucial! Alter the campus media, and designate one person to talk to the student press! This way, other members of your team can focus on talking to approaching students.
2) Keep your pitch short! Students who are rushing to class are likely to only listen to the first few words you say. Keep it short, catchy, and upbeat!
3) Always have a sign up sheet. Additionally, for the “Friend Request Pending” campaign, be SURE to have a few laptops! Encourage students to stop for a few seconds to sign the online petition!
For more information, check out the 10 step emergency mobilization guide!
Also, keep circulating the youtube video for this campaign!
Motivate students who wouldn't normally be involved by introducing the new contest! Repost this video on Facebook and get the most likes, and win an I-Pad 2! Get over 100 likes, win a gift certificate to I-Tunes! To enter the contest, take a screenshot of your Facebook profile and send it to Netanella Refael (nrefael@hasbarafellowships.org) by Sept. 27th.
Can't wait for next week to see the CUNY schools really get going!
