Hasbara Fellowships Introduces New Alumni & Young Professionals Division!

In the ten years since Hasbara Fellowships held their first mission to Israel, the program has successfully trained and motivated over 2,500 Jewish college students to become ambassadors for Israel on their campuses. The education, confidence, and passion that the Hasbara Fellowships training and staff instill in our students make them lifelong, proud pro-Israel activists. Not surprpisingly, a huge number of Hasbara Fellowships alumni go on to pursue careers in the pro-Israel advocacy or Jewish world.
Hasbara Fellowships, as we all know from participating in the program, creates a special, unique connection amongst its trip participants, the professional staff, and most of all, between the students themselves and their Jewish homeland. Students return to campus with an enthusiasm and zeal for standing up for Israel, because, for many, they feel a newfound sense of pride in our mission to share Israel's powerful, positive messages of peace, tolerance, technological innovation, and more.
But as Hasbara Fellows, why should our pro-Israel activism stop after we graduate university? Shouldn't our activism continue beyond the scope of campus? That's why Hasbara Fellowships is excited to introduce our new Alumni and Young Professionals Division. The goal of the Hasbara Fellowships Alumni & Young Professionals group is to raise awareness for Hasbara Fellowships in non-campus communities, provide our alumni and young, Jewish professionals with high-quality pro-Israel programming, and to raise funding critical to enhancing the organization.
We are thrilled to invite all Hasbara Fellowships alumni, Jewish college students, and young, Jewish professionals in the NY-area to attend our
Kickoff Celebration on Wednesday, October 5th from 6:30-9:30pm at Room Service to mix and mingle with fellow Israel lovers. The event will include a desert and hors d'voeures reception and feature remarks by Consul General Ido Aharoni on the implications of the upcoming U.N. vote on Palestinian statehood. All event proceeds will benefit Hasbara Fellowships so please come out and support our Alumni & Young Professionals initiative!
- Join us for an interesting and enjoyable evening in one of NYC's trendiest clubs to network with Hasbara Fellowships alumni new and old, local pro-Israel activists, and young, Jewish professionals.
