Temple University
Temple University is all set for Aryeh Green. He will be speaking at the brand new Ed Rosen Hillel Center Monday night October 18th about democracy and freedoms in the Middle East. Hasbara Fellowships, The David Project, Hillel at Temple and Temple Students for Israel are teaming up to bring this event to Temple.
Along with bringing Aryeh Green, Hasbara Fellow
Becky Arden already has another trick up her sleeve. She is working hard to bring
Moshe Katz and Krav Maga to
Temple sometime in early November. Like we've mentioned before, strategic partnerships and coalition building are great for your Israel group, and bringing Krav Maga is definitely the perfect way to do that. No doubt Becky will build some great partnerships with this event.
University of Pennsylvania
Many students at UPenn have signed up for Israel Inside/Out this semester! The next 6 week online course starts Oct 12, don't miss out on this group opportunity to make an easy $100 while learning about the country you love. Contact me at gtoran@hasbarafellowships.org for more info on how you and your friends could make $100 also!
Drexel
Hasbara Fellow Shani Weiss and Hillel President and Hasbara Fellow Hannah Alexander are making great strides this semester with their development of Drexel Hillel. In November, they are planning on bringing in historian Ken Spiro. Keep up with my blog to find out when the date is confirmed and what he will be talking about!
Rutgers
Be on the look out for Ishmael Khaldi in late October, Rutgers Hillel is looking to bring him in for a speaking engagement on October 28th.
If anyone else in the Philadelphia/New Jersey region is interested in bringing any of these speakers listed above, or anyone on our speakers bureau, please contact me.
Additionally, Ken Spiro will also be on tour November 7-17th. Contact me at gtoran@hasbarafellowships.org for more info or if you are interested in having him come to your university!
