Who can resist free falafel, pumping Israeli tunes, and getting informed about Israel on the beautiful campus of Harvard University? Practically no one, as demonstrated by the 1,000 or more attendees who visited Harvard Students for Israel’s annual I-Fest.
Hasbara Fellowships New England interns, Mike and Zack, and Harvard Hillel’s I-ACT coordinator, Anna Resnick, teamed up to run Israel: DYK (Did You Know) campaigns. Additionally, representatives from the most
respected and successful Israel advocacy programs, such as Birthright, Masa, and the David Project, informed students of the present issues facing Israel and what can be done by students to increase peace in the Middle East. |

Everyone that entered I-Fest for falafel and some Israeli fun also walked out with facts regarding Israel’s contribution to the betterment of humanity and the peace process. A big thank you to HSI’s E-board for making it a big success! We’re already looking forward to next year!
