Philly and New Jersey Update

Last week, the Save a Child's Heart campaign was run at UPenn by sophmore Hasbara Fellow Rebecca Borison with the help of other students in Hillel Israel Sector, Alpha Epsilon Pi, ICC, and PennPMA. Throughout the week, they tabled inside and outside of Hillel with hot chocolate and treats, and showed a film about the Save a Child's Heart organization. At the end of the week, this great campaign was able to raise $602.11 and 1 shekel! Mazel Tov on the great effort put into this campagn at Penn.
Over at
Princeton, the War on Hummus has begun. The
Princeton Committee on Palestine has been trying to get a vote in student government to force
Princeton Dining Services to offer an alternative or replace Sabra Hummus in university retail locations. As silly as this sounds, the debates have been very heated and have even attracted local and national news to the War on Hummus 2010.
