Ways to Take Action

RESOURCES TALKING POINTS STATEMENT OF SUPPORT HOME

The most important message to convey regarding the peace process is that Israel is waiting for a partner for peace. Show students that a real peace requires both sides coming together to talk – not one side pursuing statehood unilaterally.

ideas for action

  • Set up a table in a high-traffic area on campus
  • Invite students to sign the statement of support
  • Build a relationship with other clubs and organizations on campus. Use these coalition to help rally support for both the Friend Request Pending and Real Partners. Real Peace initiatives
  • Write an op-ed or a letter in your student newspaper
  • Invite speaker to discuss the peace process
  • Create t-shirts with "Add Israel as a Friend" on the front, and "You Don't Get to Real Peace Without Talking to Your Neighbor" on the back
  • Work with campus allies to lobby your members of Congress, thanking them for their support in condemning a unilateral Palestinian declaration of statehood
  • Hold a “Talk to Us” rally or campus march for peace. Invite campus media to cover it
